ZIP.ca - Unlimited DVD rentals monthly, delivered to your doorstep! Starts at $10/m
ZIP.CA - Unlimited DVD rentals monthly Canada's biggest Movie Store! ZIP.ca is the largest online DVD rental company operating in Canada. It started service in February 2004 from a location near Ottawa, Ontario. It is currently the only Canadian company that approaches the American market leader Netflix in terms of selection, with over 37,000 titles (they will also add any available title suggested to them). ZIP is a member of the privately held Momentous group of companies. In July 2005 it arranged to provide the fulfillment services for Rogers Video Direct, the new online subsidiary of one of Canada's largest video store chains. Unofficial estimates would indicate a customer base of 20-30,000 members, and a ballpark average of 15,000 shipments per day. They announced passing the 3,000,000 disc shipment milestone in December 2005. |

I just opened myself a 2 DVD plan, with a free month. So I rented MI:2 and Carlito's Way (the new one) Rise to power. The selection was pretty good, I wanted to pick like a dozen lol
Just gotta make sure to mail em back, this aint Columbia house here.. |

they took over vhqonline who was really good, quick service etc. i had an account with vhq.
google zip.ca with some reviews. it's a ton of horror stories, the exact type of problems you'd dread online. ie: charging your credit card after you've cancelled your trial period. the customer service is complete hell. maybe the they've got a better distribution centre out west now. but up to last year they still only had 1 distribution centre out in ontario. as you can imagine that doesn't help your movie delivery time. just to let you know. |

vhq was good for video games. but i was only using it to burn xbox games to the old hd. but for movies, online styles is sorta crappy imo. you never get exactly what you want, you just create a list of movies you wanna see. but what they send is random from your list.
just saying it doesn't satisfy the 'comedy' craving like when you go to the store. |
