Being an Insane Lestat fan.. I'm a little... werided out by the idea of singing vampires...and a little afraid that they'll fuck up my fave. book.

Apparently they stuck true the the story.. and were forced to close because everyone thought it "le sucked"

now i'm DYING to get my hands on a tape of it.

Queen of the dammned pissed me off to NO end. (although BIG love and props to Davis cuz he rules)

But the movie its self was SOOOOOOOO far from the story line.

I hope they don't fuck up the storyline. The film Interview With the Vampire was a complete mockery of Anne Rice's books. They spliced parts of The Vampire Lestat and Interview With the Vampire into one. . and when did Lestat turn into a heartless killer? In the first book he valued life above all else.

Queen of the Damned was no better.

I just hope they don't make Pandora a movie ever. They'd destroy it too.

I mean WTF Marius didn't make Lestat.. LESTAT NEVER Hooks up with jessy he gets all gay with David.

AT least in interview they tried to keep it story lined: they did splice.. and the reason they Turned Lestat into a killer was just like in the book its Louis vision of him. Louis always saw Lestat as the bad guy as most "kids" do with the rents... but I think tom cruse did a pretty good job of being a manicly up and down soft and angry Lestat.... Queen of the dammned took nothing but names and a title.

oh he does. Right at the beginning of The Vampire Lestat he meets them, and then begins to write his book of his life up to that point (which is actually The Vampire Lestat)
