Aww, Hackers was on TV last weekend and I got sucked right back in...love that movie!

I remember being obsessed with the soundtrack when it came out too.

it is a pretty rad soundtrack... I also still love that morph they do at the start from NYC city, to inside of computer. :D

My favourite part was when they spraypaint their laptops and that one guy paints his "camo", man that was so cool... like he could sit in the jungle hacking on his computer and nobody would see him

Me too. I used to watch it scrambled on the PPV channels. Mainly just for the music cuz the soundtrack wasn't released in North America yet. That soundtrack is responsible for getting me into Leftfield, Prodigy, Orbital, Carl Cox, Kruder & Dorfmeister.....

Voodoo People was my summer anthem that year.

What kinda saddened me was there was a bunch of really cool techno scoring in that movie too, which never got released. I want the freaking song that's playing when they're trying to figure out the "worm"... which was really the Superman III virus...

Best scene was when he social engineered his way into the tv studio.

"Check it out! This has a 28.8bps modem!"
