you need a tv tuner card for your pc.
they are pretty cheap, but if you want something decent they can be a few hundred dollars. you put the card into your computer, and plug the tv cord from your tv outlet in your wall right into the back of the tv tuner card and load on the software that came with it. in about 15 mins you can be watching/recording tv on your pc. |

Anything I watch TV wise, I watch on my computer anyways.
Saying it sounds like a gimmick... I was thinking that, but then I thought "would msn really advertise something that sucked?" I don't know. Being the msn company... you would think they would research into things before advertising it. So many people use msn and I don't think they would want their users fucked over by something they were promoting. Also it is quite possible this is real, I mean it is about time this exists. |

the tuners people are mentioning require you to have cable service anyway. looks like the thing you're looking at includes service. might be worth a look anyway (even though i've never heard of their company, you might wanna search for reviews), let us know how it works out.
