What originally hooked you into the DJing scene?

I have been studying Music for over 20 yrs. Music is a huge part of my life. Combo'd with my interest to perform in front of crowds.

What type of music do you specialise in?

Most forms of House, I like heavy basslines. Music that fills the floor. I also have an interest in Trance which I developed in my early days of DJing.

Have you got any funny/horrific DJing stories?

Yeah I mixed one of my most killer sets in front of a crowd of 3 people. If I could pull that off again in front of 100......... would be a miracle.

What do you like the most about DJing?

The smiles on peoples faces for sure.

What does your DJ name signify?

Well Roger IS my real name. Maltik is simply my middle name backwards. Thats it.

Who are your influences /or shoutouts?

BadBoyBill, DJ Dan, PVD, Sander Kleinenberg to name a few.

Shoutouts to my friends who is down to listen to me play for hrs on end. To the promoters who gave me a chance to play out. To Solid guys for booking me my first large event. (IMF 09)
