Well I've only made a few DnB tracks to date, been doing mostly hiphop but this track just really came together magically. Sooooo fresh!! Im hooked on dnb!!!

I'm gunna get a girl I know to help with the singing for sure. I put a bit of my own singin on there as well *but im not that great at singing LOL*, not sure if Im gunna MC it yet because I haven't really gotten the dnb style down yet. If anyone wants to collab it let me know!

By the way JT (junglist) did the drum break, well gave me 1 bar then I chopped it up and put all the sounds in. Got 320s if anyone wants 1.

not bad i guess. altho i'm curious as to where you got your break sample as it sound heavily borrowed from a pendulum kit. your b-line is catchy tho you could make it a bit more fatter. that crazy lead sounds dubby, yet a bit sloppy, maybe use a different filter to give it a different feel.

and yeah you do suck at singing lol.

appreciate sum honest feedback, it's only really the 3rd dnb track I've tried doing.

do you think I should just Eq the bassline thicker or what? I'm usin TBL it's not really all that great, it's ok I guess. I need Trilogy !

not sure what you meant by sloppy, I thought it harmonized fairly well .. I tried a few different filters, it's all a matter of opinion rite?

JT said he emulated a pendulum break so I'm not sure exactly how or what he did.

Nice work! I like Feel My Soul the best out of your latest tunes - its really funky.

Trilogy is pretty sweet, I recon it'd be good for your style of basslines. It's preset bank is huge! If you want raw power and want to tweak your bass sounds alot, try NI Massive.

The pendulum break:

It's 3 layered breaks with some special snare treatment (A pitched down 808 snare with a reverbed action snare)

yeah justin might be right, maybe you guys would appreciate Feel My Soul better on the soundclick.

Has a bit thicker bass and it's pretty funky, but the vocals are rough cuz I'm just puttin the words on there for my gf to dub it. It has some compression hiccups because I was tired of workin on it, I'll get around to mastering it later and do her vokes.

in the part where all the strings sorta come together? yeah I know what you mean man, my violin pack is bloody hopeless it's just a random assortment of shit.

really the only thing that holds me back often when making beats is some of my disorganized sample sets lol. I just want keyboards full of real instruments dammit!!!! Sometimes I wonder what geniouses are puttin together these packs to download? I got a piano pack with 3 diff pianos sampled, but each 1 is missin like 5 sharps and a bunch of notes. I can never seem to find the good shit.

now I'm mumbling, so anyway. Man I must be tone deaf when it comes to singing, I just don't get the concept. LOL I should get lessons. I can do verses fine though.
