i checked out her myspace, and I thought the music shows alot of potential and I can see there is talent behind it.

rather than just shooting it down, offer something constructive if yall don't feel it is up to par.

Everyone has to start somewhere, seriously there's constructive critisism like Chadwick is so good at doing - and there's straight be being assholes and holier than thou because you've been producing for longer than her.

My beats sucked ass when I started producing, but after years and years of work I finally have something that I was able to share, play out, etc - this poor girl gets murdered on this site as soon as she shows up. Just 'haha your beats sound like a commodore 64'

I admit she retaliated a lot, but she had to imo. This is not the way to further ungerground artists, I could say you're beats sucked swytch, but they don't - but.. imagine if I did - imagine if I shot down all your hard work, imagine if I shot down something that you loved to do and thought was the best you've ever done. Anyone would retaliate.

This thread is a perfect example of what this site is, a place for overgrown teenagers to stroke their internet egos/reps and any chance they can. Thanks Chad for actually giving the girl some pointers and something constructive.

You run into enough of that in the industry as it is. Its no-name ppl who cant even make an effort to at least put them selfs out there and believe in them selfs like she does who should stop and think before they make a coment.

Hey man, you know me! I'm all about the love for the music. I wonder how many modern day Paul Simons or Jimmy Pages have been nipped at the butt because their first few tunes weren't all that great and they caught flak for it.

I didn't comment on her talent, I made a polite observation about her behaviour. I wasn't trying to be hurtful, I was offering advice. I certainly wasn't jumping down anyone's throat.

As far as giving back, I'm interested in artist management and have been pursuing that in my limited spare time. It's something I have done a lot of research in and have some experience with, plus I think I'm pretty good at it. Hence, the advice aboutself-promotion etc.

You've made it clear you don't want my advice, and that is perfectly fine, as I wasn't offering it to you anyways.
