awww beastie boys with trance doesn't really work, they deserve a funky breakbeat to be remixed over in my opinion. Then again I just don't like trancey beats, diff strokes for diff folks I guess.

Ill try to find an acapella of them and show you what I'd do.

hey thanks for the feedback guys- though funk is not my style and i preffer more melodic over funk so i wanted to see how it would sound. personally this is the way i would have used the vocals if i were the beastie boys today so thats what i tried to manifest into sound.

nobody else with opinions? anyone into trance on this board? or house? or breaks?

It was well done, and pretty good.. but yeah something more funk would have done it justice better. It just doesnt suit the tone of the music perfectly, but i think you did an excelent job mixing it as it was

i actually produced it using Ableton's with Reason Rewired and several VST's...
