all these sub genres get kinda grey..

the way i rationalized it was

funky breaks - fort knox five, krak and smack, plump djs, cleaner funk style breaks

funky nu skool - superstyle deluxe, beat assassins, strider, rob reng, dirtier grimy funk style breaks

Although the main style is funky breaks there are a lot of tracks that imo have a nu-skool influence.

yo nate! super awwesomee mix dude for realz.. kinda funny i waz just messing around makin a cover for the mix i just got done too,, and i had 'funky nuskool breaks' on it cause thatz how i ususaly describe my style too, but then i read all that talk about the sub genres and just deleted that off the cover haha cause im not sure either.. but anyways, ur mix watever style ppl wanna label it, kix ass dude im lovin it. my fav mix from u so far.. that and orbital bombardzment!

really?? i had no idea.. i've never heard of it.. I only just moved to vancouver a few years ago. I should have asked around more I guess.

we should have a used name data base where we can search for all the names of parties/mixes/babies that have been used in the past like 10 years..

that would make repeating some things a virtual impossibility!! =D
