I like the bassline synth, but the song doesn't really seem complete. It's like Speed Garage Lite.

Not bashing it. Like I said, its a bit lite... this may be me and my hate on for low bitrate sound clips. But it seems a little empty in the mids... the trance strings don't really fill in, they feel way more in the background. I like the bassline though, and thats the most important thing in my opinion.

Are you going for a mellow track, or one that really "goes off" at some point?

It's too bouncy and sounds like they through in there the first speed garage base line they came across. It's just not well put together in my opinion

I think you could do a lot with the hook you have for the bassline, but you need to fatten it up a bit, maybe play a bit with the warping, cuz mystique is right... It's a little extra-typical speed-garage bass (I like SG basslines, but I've heard many that sound exactly like that).

first of all... 'they' is me... second of all, I spent a rediculous amount of hours making that bassline to fit the track... third of all, it's a 64kbps sound file, so I would assume it doesn't sound perfect, so don't bash my production quality when you're not even hearing it properly

and ppcock you need to sit down and sip on a nice tall glass of shut the fuck up... asshole... don't listen to it if you don't like speedgarage... fuckin cunt

^Dude, chill! Don't post up something for people to listen to if you don't want comments... especially on FnK, where you know you'll get trashed just because (which, by the way, you haven't yet).

If you've spent a gajillion hours on it and think it's perfect, then there yo go. I don't think it compares to a lot of tracks yet, but its far from bad. If you want real constructive criticism, then say what you wanted to get out of the song, and give a quality copy to judge it by. If not, then deal with random suggestions based off of what people have to hear.

I'm not adverse to appropriate comments and suggestions... but when people just say stupid shit to big themselves up, I don't tolerate that fuckin garbage... people think just cuz they're posting shit on a forum means that it has no impact in real life... your comments were perfectly fine Niko, no argument with what u were sayin... it's just useless bullshit like what ppcock posts that pisses me off... I don't wanna see that bullshit as the first reaction to this new track that I worked my ass off to make... some fuckin goon who doesn't know shit about music tellin me how much it sucks? fuck that! fuck him!

just because this is the internet, doesn't mean the people on it don't have real lives and real feelings... I invested a lot of time into learning what I know about making music and premastering my tracks... music is everything to me... the last thing I ever want to see when I post a track for people to enjoy and comment on is some fuckin bullshit about how because it's not a genre some wanker enjoys, that immediately makes it a bad track and puts all my time and effort out the window... tracks don't make themselves, people make them, and people get fuckin pissed off when someone like ppcock gets up on the mic and busts it out ignorant stylee

ya dig?

^Well, in ppcock's defense, he's ppcock. He shows his love by scorn and fire. That's why we all love him. Don't take it too seriously.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, quality is a bit off, but that is to be expected at that bit rate. I would really like to hear the whole track. If you see this Thanatos, hook it up for me on msn. rogue_009@hotmail.com

I'm not a fan of speed garage, but from someone that knows something about producing I'll say that the production is actually quite good. Speed garage percussions piss me off in general because they're so thin and unlayered, but since that has to do with the genre rather than your specific production skills I'll ignore it. The bassline is well done; it's not possible to make a bassline like that unless you've been producing for a while so good job.

Overall I don't like the song, because I don't like the genre, but it's a solid production effort so props for that.
