Tonight on Art Of Beatz Radio: Queensyze (Tune Inc Recordings)

TONIGHT ON ART OF BEATZ:

Hour 1: Queensyze (Tune Inc/Solid Vinyl) LIVE P.A

Queensyze has been marked as Canada's leading female
drum and bass producer. This comes as no surprise
since she spends all of her time in the studio
spending night and day working on arrangements and
experimenting with low frequencies from her arsenal of
Retro Tech synthesizers. Queensyze has been on a long
musical venture for as long as she can remember. At
early childhood she studied the piano and then later
in her teens, the guitar. Coming from a musical family
(her dad had his first record released by the time he
was eighteen) she learned early in life that she loved
music. In 1998, after DJing for over two years,
Queensyze decided that she was ready to take her
skills to the next level. She then went to college and
studied audio engineering. Two years of college and
tons of DJing later, she continued her learning curve
with the construction of her studio Tune Inc. By 2002
the Tune Inc. studio was ready for serious production
and finally the first release, “Sign of the Times” was
sold internationally. She is now released under Solid
Vinyl (UK), Incidental Records (CA), Oscillate
Recordings (CA) and her own imprint Tune Inc.
Recordings. Recording to evolve with the digital
revolution, Queensyze has created her studio to be
more mobile. She can now play complete sets without
touching a turntable. The crowds go wild while she
plays un-released productions one after another.
Building her tracks live, creating on the spot remixes
dropping mashed up classic samples, all created with
her mobile studio.
