HAHAHA Apparently I struck a sensitivity chord with the title of this mix. Here's an email that was received regarding the mix: "I DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM WITH YOUR SUBJECT HEADING...MAYBE TRY BLACK HOUSE MUSIC VS CRAP BY WHITE PEOPLE...PLEASE DON'T SEND ME MAIL AGAIN."

First of all why is this such a "controversial" issue? Throughout history there have always been and still are "house negroes", look up Collin Powell, Clarence Thomas and Condeleeza Rice. Secondly, I was inspired to make this mix using excerpts from Malcom Xs speech by twisting the meaning of "house negroe" a little. All you had to do was actually listen to the mix to clearly see what my point was. Artistically speaking as a House music lover, I am a "House negroe" of sorts and because not many around me hear or enjoy the same music as I do, I often feel like "I'm the only one on my block" in a field of "negroes". Neither the title nor the contents of my mix has ever offended anyone that has ever listened to that mix, black or white. Unfortunately I can't say the same about your response after reading it. Especially the "BLACK HOUSE MUSIC VS CRAP BY WHITE PEOPLE" part. What the hell was that supposed to mean? It's sad that you were the only one that pulled a racial stench from it. Had you, a black man based on your comments, known your own history, you wouldn't have been offended by this. So before you jump into histeria after reading only the title, try actually listening to the whole content and OPEN YOUR MIND "brotha". I thank you for your support.
