Hour 1: DJ Soma (Djsoma.ca/meaty meaty big and breaky)


A key player on the West coast of Canada, Dj Soma has
become a favorite among party goers and a
representative of Vancouver's underground break beat
and Tech funk scenes. Nine years in the making, his
flavor of Nu Skool break beat and progressive Tech
Funk fusion has become a distinctive grind that has
left followers hungry for more.A musician, engineer
and performing artist Dj Soma has brought a high level
of entertainment to his stage, frequently adding live
instruments and collaborations to the show.

2004 was a big one ! Playing for companies such as
Solid Corporation, Twenty Hz, and Vivid Sessions by
Ph1.ca. Dj Soma has played along side and opened for
Hybrid, Seb Fontaine, Lee Coombs, Evil Nine, Dj Icey,
Junkie XL, UFO! (San Francisco), Qzen, DJ Fixx,
Aquasky and DJ Deekline.

This past spring brought along a new mix set and the
CD release party for “Vancity Pressure” at Tokyo
Lounge with our friends from Blue Saturdays and
Fnk.ca. Other media exposure also includes guest
appearances on The Art of Beatz Radio (102.7 FM CFRO
Radio Sessions).

This coming summer will be no disappointment! With
gigs confirmed at two Massive festivals, APEX Project
2005 (July 30 ) and Summer Break 4 (August 20), as
well as providing local support for The Planet of the
Drums tour on Canada Day (July 1) expect some heavy
sounds and groovy basslines to get you through another
hot summer!

Hour 2: Eve/Motomasa/Kuma

DJ based insanity as the AOB all stars bring the cake
and the funk. Trust, we're still feleing it from the
Meat beat Manifesto show last night, it's oooooon....
