I beg to differ. Within the last month I have grabbed close to 15 tracks that are all quality hard trance.

On another note, i think its the other way around with hardtrance, most old stuff sucks, other than those goldies that EVERYONE raped live.
Sorta shows why Cosmic Gate remade The Drums, why there are countless bootlegs of old hardtrance tracks, becuase the original producer had a good idea but fucked it up completely. Thats also why dumonde remastered allot of their old tracks becuase back in the day the technology was not even available.
This whole winter was dope for new releases though ... i cant wait til Jan... Traffic, Druck and Tracid are releasing their new bombs...
Hardtrance has a specific sound...
allota the "HardTrance" that people claim to play is actually "Uk Hardhouse"
the difference is quality... Uk hardhouse is 146+ Bpm, cheesy with dry synths...which to me sound like really amateur producing. While real HardTrance has the full effect.

It was truely a blessing when hard trance finally came to vancouver.

Today's Hard Trance is alot better than the older stuff, technology makes a huge difference. There are tons of great older tracks, but the Hard Trance now is alot better sounding/better quality.

in any track.. the song goes through edits, and normalizing to give it that extra oomph and a decent sound quality.

some djs dont know how to master worth shit...
the concept was unknown til someone discovered a MIX DOWN...and added more volume to JUST the bass kick.

Now adays tracks are ripped from vinyl to mp3, and that also fucks up the sound when u dont know how to rip properly. I tend to stick to 320kbps and vinyl...
