OK, now for the moment of truth.
CLASS IS IN SESSION ON HOW TO MASTER A RECORDED MIX PROPERLY (and don't take it personal...I'm only trying to help). WAVELENGTHS 101 Let us analyze the wavelengths of this recorded mix.  As you can see above, there is quite a difference between the recorded level of the master source and the optimum level (represented by thin white bars in the audio canvas). It is where most of your wavelengths should peak. ANALYZE 202 Let's now gather some information about the recorded mix.  I'm now gathering information about the left and right channels of the mix in order to determine the appropriate mastering level for your mix. Because of the amount of samples it needs to analyze, this process takes several minutes.  With information gathered from the left channel, the right channel is then analyzed.  I have now successfully gathered the information I require to determine the appropriate mastering level. As you can see, the recorded mix is recorded at negative 3.0dB - we need to boost this via hard limiting. This is different from normalizing where only the highest sample is analyzed and all other samples and increased and/or decreased according to only one sample. Hard limiting using my software will establish an optimum level for the billions of samples used in this recording. MASTERING 303 Mastering now underway...  So with a couple of other post production filters applied and wanvelength analysis tools, the mastering process is underway.  Just about done...  And voila. You've graduated. Some may question why it all bunches up at the top of the line like this...remember this is a 79 minute mix compressed to fit the screen. When we zoom in to visually see what effects the mastering and wavelength tools had on the samples...  At a breakpoint in one of the tracks, you'll see that the kick, bassline and all other environmental elements are intact and properly limited to the optimum level. NO DISTORTION. Absolutely crystal clear because all audio samples are within the optimum recording range (kinda like a studio produced CD). Absolutely no distortion or loss of audio quality.
