MARKUS SCHULZ:

2004 marked the debut of Markus Schulz at #32 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs. Markus has been winning over fans with his dark, brooding, melodic productions and DJ sets. He has captured a vibe in trance that was previously only heard in house music.

With his Coldharbour Sessions compilation release in March of 2004, the foundation was laid out for what has been labeled as the next big sound in trance. Dark, thick bass lines, tranquil music box melodies, with frantic energetic percussion and epic strings. His productions have been released throughout the world on some of the most respected labels in the electronic dance music industry: Electronic Elements, Armada, Anjunabeats, Lost Language, Yoshitoshi, Global Underground, Renaissance and Bedrock just to name a few. Markus has had the opportunity to work with artists like Jewel, Oceanlab, Gabriel & Dresden presents Motorcycle, Karada, Telepopmusik, Fat Boy Slim, Miro, Book Of Love, Depeche Mode, Everything But The Girl, Madonna, Blue Amazon, and PQM. Harder, darker, Markus always delivers up a musically sensitive yet moody monster of a mix.

His continued growth and success as been equally affected by his internationally broadcasted radio show " Global DJ Broadcast" which has proven to be one of the most listened to radio shows worldwide via the internet. Markus' show can be heard every Sunday night from 1am-5am on WPYM 93.1fm and simulcast on www.trancesphere.com, www.dancenation.com and www.ets-global.org. The U.S. dance community has labeled his show as "The most important outlet for the global music scene on American radio". Hundreds of thousands of listeners tune in every week either on the radio or over the internet to hear Markus's live sets from his gigs around the globe and mixes from his superstar dj guests.

M.I.K.E aka PUSH
http://www.mike.be/press/files/mike-black-and-white.jpg
Mike's aka Dirk Dierickx started to DJ at the age of 16. He used the name DJ Mike, which is why, after he also produced under this name, he decided to change his real name from Dirk to Mike in 2001.

Mike is releasing under several project names like Solar Factor, Plastic Boy, Return of the Native, The Blackmaster and of course Push. His style of DJing is very similar to the music he makes, on a hard-edged tech-progressive trance tip. M.I.K.E is at the forefront of Europe's new sound, regularly topping charts in several leading countries.

The story began when an 11 year old boy discovered the potential of samplers and keyboards... At the age of 18, Mike handed his first demo tape to the Antwerp based record company, 'USA Import'. Shortly after, his first record, 'Vision Act' was released on the Atom label in 1992. Mike released a series of successful records before he signed up with Lightning in 1996. This gave him the opportunity to team up with Yves Deruyter, as his producer. Mike was behind YDR hits, 'To The Rhythm','The Rebel" and more recently, 'Back To Earth' and 'Spiritual Feelings'. Pole positions in the worldwide dance charts were soon putting the Belgian dance scene firmly on the map.

Mike also teamed up and did remixes for Sinead 'O Connor, Moby,Mauro Piccoto,Bom Funk Mc's,Oliver Lieb
This kind of success did not go unnoticed, as M.I.K.E. was asked to DJ at some of the best venues in the world, including: 'Gatecrasher' and 'Godskitchen'in the UK, 'Fura' and 'Vel Farre' in Japan, 'Massive and 'Trance Energy' in Holland, 'Limelight' U.S. and the Berlin Love Parade

Twisted and the Unconscious Bros. are proud to announce the headliner for our second room...

IN THERE FIRST EVER VISIT TO VANCOUVER...

STEREO 8, UK - Finger'Lickin, www.fingerlickin.co.uk
Twisted and the Unconscious Bros. are proud to welcome Stereo 8 in there first ever Vancouver visit. Formed together in 96, Stereo 8 is comprised of Simon, Julian and Tom and there style is a mix of 90's House, Hip Hop and Funk fused together with Breakbeats. The trio also put together the hugely successfull and influential club night BlowPop which is largely responsible for making the Breaks scene what it is today in Bristol.

It's no doubt that Stereo 8 will come armed with not only there own freshest beats, but also some of newest funkest stuff floating in the Fingerlickin camp and around the UK! This should be one of those sets to remember!

That B-side was kewl! It's funny... the couple of times I did play it out, a lot of people didn't recognize it because they were so used to hearing the other side!

good job on Schulz and MIKE ....i always like it best when the whole budget is spent on 2 fresh DJs instead of spread around a bunch of washed up DJs nobody wants to see ....and first twisted rave in a long time!
