My friends and I had a great time at this event. Good tunes, cheap drinks, good crowd.

But then..... dun dun duuuuuuun....

While quietly waiting for the night bus at Granville and Georgia and eating our 'Subway' brand submarine sandwiches we were stopped by two men who informed us of the real truth.

Subway, although openly endorsed by Jared as a healthy alternative to fast food, in fact uses processed vegetabes. These vegetables, while thought to be almost top priority on Canada's food guide, were in fact major detriments to our diet and physical health. They are even comparable to processed cheese.

Immediately I questioned what I was eating. These self proclaimed 'Hal Johnson and Joanne Mcleod's' had saved me from an extremely long term and potentially fatal demise.

Thank you anonymous strangers for your unwielding advice in the face of possible neglect and criticism. More of us should accept the dietary advice of random passers by.

did u do anymore research on the subject?
don't always believe one source because what if they have some form of bias and were just trying to mess with your head. like when you ask for directions but people point you the wrong way because they think its funny
