Timeslots In General
I honestly think that the timeslots should be decided by the party people... make like a poll where people can vote on what time they wanna see the headliners... that way the majority wins and the majority of the people are happy... iono just an idea cuz in every timeslot thread ive seen lotta people complaining bout em....

hrm i never knew that... but it was just an idea...
but I mean... at least see and hear out what the party people want...and try to work together.. as for locals and shit... its not like they play prime time...and if they got sumthing better to do... they shouldnt be booked at alll I meant for the MAIN headliners... cuz i know everyone has been in a situation where they say " oh shit i wish he/she played b4 this dj"

I think thats a great idea
However another problem is that for example when I decide timesluts for my parties I like some sort of order like play some housey stuff first, then some harder funkey stuff, then some hard headliner trance, then I'd progress downwards again until early in the morning where I'd be some "morning music" If a dj had so many friends on fnk it might mess up that order. But I wish I could do it your way cause it's not like what Harp says about the people being a bunch of whiney dumbasses but rather the dj's themselves who get all bitchy

yeah some people will understand where im commin from and like the idea, and some people will not understand and dont like the idea... sall good
all im trying to say is for the MAIN HEADLINERS... not the locals and shit... for ex. INSOMNIA this year... many many people woulda liked to see BK come on b4 ronski speed... It woulda been great if we got to vote on who would WE like to see first. But it doesnt mean the production companies HAVE TO do it this way... it should just be sumthing to work with and see what everyone is thinkin... In my opinion this would make a better vibe for parties

Lineups should be engineered according to a Djs style, skill, experience and type of event. An event should have proper progression through the night. Since you can't please everyone with how a line-up is arranged, promoters usually try and do the best they can. It's not an easy thing, especially when dealing with egos and their fans.

its not about the line up unless you are at a shitty low budget unprofessional parties where the people throwing the party are always playing. after that...
WHEN YOU GET TO THE TOP THERE IS REALLY NO ORDER IT IS ONLY PERSONAL PERFERENCE. TO EACH IS OWN. AND AT THE LEVEL THAT I LIKE IS JUST DOESN'T MATTER. So get a copy of tony robbins and learn to master your emotions and poinions and complaints
