Friends and jazz lovers!-Upcoming Jazz Events (mon. nov 14th & 27th)

This thread is for people who are into jazz, and no, not jazzy drum and bass, or jazzy house... Just straight up jazz.

This upcoming monday the SFU Jazz band that im running this year (and mr. dave is in as well) is putting on an event at the sfu highland pub at 7pm. Cover is by donation only, so if you cant spare any cash its no big deal. We'll be playing 2 sets consisting of latin/swing/rock/funk and straight up jazz. So if youre into it and youll be around sfu burnaby on monday, come and check it out!

We also have another event on november 27th with 3 bands, but apparently I cant post about that because theres a $5 cover charge... So if you want to know more just send me a pm (and no, i dont stand to make any money off the event).

sorry man! We didnt call anyone about this one... Though we were going to send out calls for the nov. 27th one because we'll have worked out our first gig jitters and it'll probably be a better performance (and its going to involve both bands we're in). But if youre free you should come out tonight, havent seen you in ages!

i absolutely loooove jazz..! my dad and step mom, and so are my bfs parents are all jazz musicians, so i basicly grew up on it!
