FNK's Annual Summer Foodbank Fundraiser! - Saturday August 12 @ English Bay

OK People... it is that time again.

This year Kimmie came up with the great idea of having the fundraiser and foodbank donation drive be OUTSIDE at the beach!

So on Saturday August 12, the FNK team will be setting up the turntables and BBQ's at the beach. We'll be cooking up hotdogs, smokies and burgers for everyone who comes down to support the event.

Come on down and please try to bring 3 non-perishable food items or cash donations, come chill at the beach and have a great time.

** Just to remind all members, we will not being encouraging any alcohol consumption at this event as it is situated in a public venue, and we wouldn't want to chance the shut down of the event. With this warning in place, those who choose to bring alcoholic beverages to the event, we ask that you drink it away from the event or you will be politely asked to leave.

Those who wish to bring extra BBQ gear to help with the event, please feel free to do so. The more the merrier.

So mark it down on your calendar! It's going to be great!

That seems like a good idea, might be worth checking out, good on you guys for the donations to the Foodbank, you should ask people to bring a can of food instead or both :)

It's minimum three non-perishable items. This fundraiser is in its 4th year running :)

this is an awesome idea!! ive been to this even the last 3 years and it has always been good fun...the beach is already a good spot to socialize...so lets socialize with a reason! count me in
