having problems uploading pics

when ever i try to upload a pic this comes up:
File upload error. Cannot find uploaded file.
Path: [/home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/gallery/data/500/2859twisted_2003.bmp]

can anyone out there help me!!!
