I see you're new to the wonderful world of DJing! Congratulations on your interest in this deeply rewarding hobby. Let us begin our first lesson with YOU ARE NOT A FUCKING DJ BY SCRATCHING A RECORD, THEN CROSSFADING TO THE NEXT TRACK AFTER 3 'WICKA WICKA' MOTIONS.

Seriously, your equipment looked modernized, I'm willing to bet you had an automix button. Press it next time. Better yet, get a 3 disc changer, as I'd rather here 3 seconds of a pause between songs than *WICKA WICKA WICKA TRAINWRECK*.

The emo band at the end should have played the entire time, they were pretty good actually. The Sessions, great. The DJ, bad.


PS: Yes, I attended BC Fashion dealie for no apparent reason other than free invitation and a bored Saturday :)

I retract a statement, it sounded like you left the crossfader in the middle the entire time and just tried to "drop in" another track on top of the existing one, then pressed stop on the first track.

The xfader curve was probably set as cut and he didnt know what was going on. lol
