Yeh i'm such a drop out haha. PS - you should take a communications course with my next semester? I've decided i want to do communcations.

Do you know how a joint major works say between poli sci and communications? The site doesn't offer any help hmm.

communications is a phoney major! right now i am writing a 30 page paper on 'webs on significance' which is totally legitimate.

actually yeah i'll take a communications course with you, which one? i'm also applying to do an exchange, want to come with me? also i have no idea about joint majors i can barely do one.

i just cut my hand open on a pudding box.

Those are the courses, i'll probably start out with the intro and explorations in mass communication. All the communications courses look interesting and in the upper division they have publishing courses too. Might make it into my minor if i can't do a joint major.

'webs of significance' is about how we/culture do not grow up independantly but within a matrix of meanings and symbols which we are constantly teaching to eachother and which can be explored by using one of many analytical themes such as: sexuality, forgiveness, power, perception of others, socialization, acceptance, victory over adveristy, hugs, etc.

this is easy to write about because it includes everything on earth ever and is mostly bs.
