Wow! Oh my goodness! Somebody picked you to be the C. U. N.ext T.uesday at the door at Sonar tonight, and wow! Even though this guy's on the guestlist, I'm going to show how important I am by not letting him in. Mark my words, enjoy your 2 hours of power because judging by your 10-dollar shoes and 20-dollar fleece, you have nothing else to show for it. To ANY promoters that know who you are: I will pay you ANY sum of money to have the pleasure of watching this girl be escorted out of a party. I know there's at least 1 or 2 ppl that know who you are and I'm going to capitalize on that fact. I WILL PAY THE FIRST PROMOTER ANY AMOUNT THEY WANT for the pleasure of watching her be escorted out by security. I'm hoping I'll never see you again but I look forward to watching you get dragged out.

That club is sooooo poorly run and operated it's not even funny.

That's not true.

When Bruce Allen and his partners first opened Sonar after closing the Town Pump, it was a gorgeous venue. It was also properly run and had a great management staff.

Over the years Sonar has fallen into complete shambles. It's easily the worst run nightclub I've ever been to in this city. Not only on a hospitable level but also operationally speaking.

^^ cause the type of people who can afford to pay for a club like have NO clue about running clubs.. BUT they have a ton of money!

^That only lasts so long, with every change of ownership at Sonar they soon realize that the club is a money pit. Unless you have a solid foundation similar to the Lotus or Shine you're not going to survive as a nightclub in that area of town. The image and decisions made with Sonar over the years have destroyed it beyond repair. The only way that venue will ever have a rebirth and a solid string of decent shows and nights in there is if it got completely gutted, reno'd, name change and a full marketing overhaul. Until then it's going to continually only house half assed events.

See what really surprises me that they do an event like Hed Kandi, have the club packedand and make tons of money … All the had to do is just bring extra sounds, and had awesome visuals, and that club looked awesome… If they can pull shows like that off, good for them, cause they got business going on then… I heard next show is roger sanchez
but otherwise its sad what happened to sonar :S
