hey man, just an idea here.
why doesnt twisted use its resources to throw some smaller limited capacity shows. throw a couple solid small vibey parties using the budget flexibility and resources that a large company like twisted has? maybe geared a little less towards the main room plaza crowd? maybe twisted is through with small parties, but i dunno, it could be pretty sick.

They did one in the last year or so in Surrey
But then Surrey banned Raves Its not worth it for Twisted to do illegal shows cause if the city found out they could get in alot of trouble and maybe lose there licence for legal raves Does thast about sum it up?? AGROout

Exactly Dave... Twisted is involved in many different things and to even look at doing smaller, underground shows is out of the question for us. We could never take the risk in doing that as it for sure would have an impact on everything else we do!

true true. but maybe start up a "fake" production company that is done by you guys but for reasons of ruining the twisted name with the authorities of vancouver. you guys know how to throw phat parties. i could just imagine what an underground one by you guys would be like, considering the money u would save with not having to pay permit fees and pay the cops and whatever other humbo jumbo they require you to do. I dunno , just a thought

u know what i think would be cool, and also legal... lol
get a licence for a smaller place and do it up as if it were an underground... like have the twisted jungle kru playin in the main room or somethin and have that camo shit everywhere..heh that would be dope i dunno if tht would cost too much, but just a thought... :keebler:

Thats the problem Plaza of nations and Riverside are the only iusable venues Write your city council and express your concerns AGROout

As I have said in a few other posts I have made, the City of Vancouver and all other cities for that matter makes it very challenging to throw parties period... Either it be venue/permit related or otherwise, it is more difficult to throw a party here than say TO. <sigh>
