i dont know, sorry if it doesnt.
I'm asking here anyway cause i know at least someone on here was good with this stuff cause they worked in the field or whatever so here goes my question Anyway, I want a new phone but am in this 3 year contract thingand dont want to wait for it to be up. I just got my phone last year but am now wanting a chocolate. so do I need to pay the full price for this new phone and buy it as a no contract or how does it work?

Who are you with?
Some phone companies have upgrade programs. Or, sometimes if you re-sign for a new contract (start your three years over) they can get you a new phone (or possably a discount off a new phone). Varies from company to company and how well you stand with them at that time. Otherwise, you'd have to buy the phone straight up yo!

I'm with Rogers.
I dont even know how much the chocolates are these days but i think it be less expesnive if i keep the contract and just get the phone.

Just grab a Chocolate from here: Buy LG Mobile KG800 Chocolate Unlocked GSM Cellular Phone, LG Mobile Cell Phones
Definitely cheaper than buying it from Rogers, and still cheaper than buying out a contract. All you gotta do is swap out the SIM card and you're good to go.

if you're in your final year of an existing contract, you can usually take advtange of the new 'contracts' out there.
if you're not.....i'd recommend looking on craigslist for a chocolate then, they're not too expensive just make sure to find one that's unlocked on all networks, or a gsm phone locked on rogers.
