actually I grew up in new york and vancouver.

going to school in the states was an option that I explored, a partial baseball scholarship also helped.

but I decided to stay with my mother in vancouver instead.

as far as not being able to afford it, that's not really the case, my mother is a head of administration at ubc and my dad is a doctor.
