Job Description:

Shaw Cablesystems G.P., the leading entertainment and communications company, has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative – Field Support in our Vancouver office. Reporting to the Manager, Customer Care, the successful candidate will be accountable for providing customer service to our dispatch, field escalations, activations and commercial services customers.

Accountabilities:

• Assist in the facilitation of a smooth-flowing installation process
• Resolve service and installation complaints by following-up for maximum customer satisfaction through our escalation processes
• Monitor appointments and if required make all of the necessary rescheduling requirements to ensure exceptional customer service
• Pre-activate and activate customer accounts by talking directly to dealers, installers and direct sales agents
• Communicate with customers to ensure they are informed of our billing processes and form of payments
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and provide pleasant, professional and knowledgeable customer service
• Various other duties as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in a dispatch environment is an asset
• Proficient in a Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
• Pleasant personality with superior communications skills both written and verbal
• Team player with excellent customer service skills
• Excellent organization and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail
• Goal oriented with the ability to work in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
• A positive “can do” attitude and customer focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity

This position requires the successful completion of a criminal and credit background check
