nah im thinkin about where i should go, i know i don't got the steez to be an aviator cuz a family friend joined the marine corp and hes very bright and fit but he couldn't make the cut. im thinking logistics or infantry, cuz id like to be one of those CSOR guys bringing a whole world of pain to the taliban.

actually thats wrong, i dont want to have to put 8 years in tho. it would be tight if we could sign up for a year at a time. tho i acknowledge if you want a capable force it takes ALOT of training.

There's the Seaforth Highlanders, Duke of Connaughts Own, 15 Field Artillery, 12 Service Battallion, 744 Communications Regiment, some # Intelligence Company and one or two other Units about town.

Most Intell personel are Officers with College/University/RMC behind them, or are recuited out of active duty, as far as I know.

Best way to think of how you would fit in to the Military is to think of things you like to do for fun right now, and try to compare that to something militaristic.

Doesnt matter if u like lots of things. Different trades all do lots of things.

Example, for me, I loved the outdoors, camping, physical activity. I was also do well making quick decisions and I enjoy adrenaline. So the infantry was a good choice for me.

Just assess yourself, youll figure it out.

i took a test to tell me what kind of job id be best for, in college and they told me i scored top for being a military officer..go figure bwhahah:nuts:

Serious answer... No one joins to be a sniper or anything like that, the only way into that is when they ask you to join something. And usually you've been in for a few years and shown what you can do. :P

I can totally see you being an officer if you had joined. Makes sense. But I was supposed to be an officer as well, but I enlised instead. Looking back, probably a mistake.

yea its been my plan to join ever since like grade 10. never really thought anything else... the only thing i have thought of is when.
and it looks like ill be putting in my paperwork pretty damn soon... but hey next time i see ya ill pick your brain a bit... maybe we spin some records n have a beer soon or somethin.
