I'm a lot more excited about their produced work than their recorded work. About the only track I could stand off of Any Minute Now was NY Excuse.

That being said, just about any one of their Nite Version remixes of their tracks are gold. Particularly E-talking and NY Lipps.

Oh, and I really dig the Soulwax Nite Mix of Phatom Pt. II.

The event thread says it's an early show, do you think they'll be on before 10? I have to work the bc elections until between 8-10pm. And do they do live PA band stuff? or is it straight mixin?

AMAZING SHOW!!! Wow! Wish they played longer but seriously SO GOOD. Loved what they were wearing, the epic stage presence and the hyphy, fist pumpy, hair banging music...people were going NUTS!! Very glad i went :D

Also disappointed on the shortness of the set, but the documentary they aired was rad and they fucking tore it up.

Whatever reservations I had about these guys previously have been obliterated. Great frikkin band. Was kinda cool to learn the diff between Soulwax, 2ManyDJs and Radio Soulwax....

Don't forget Night Versions!!

Documentary was great however the majority of people around me weren't interested so it made it hard to see/hear. BTW who was the Canadian/American sounding dude with the hat that had the "sausage" analogy? He was funny. The Justice bits were funny as well. Also interesting to see where NY Excuse came from.

The movie really added to the show. It was interesting to learn everything about them from their personality traits to their bad habits to what each of them adds to the band.

The band was phenomenal though even w/o the docu.

FWIW, it's "Nite [sic] Versions", and it kinda seemed like that was the show they were doing last night.

I kinda found it funny, someone at the show was all "Wow, I didn't realize they did a lot of those songs." Truth is a fair number of the songs they were performing were other people's tunes. Tiga's Move My Body, Justice's Phantom Part II, and a few others.

Oh, fav part of the docu was while the E Talking Nite Version was playing in the background and they're getting random conversations of etarded hipsters in the bathroom.

Yeah I was really excited to hear robot rock. That shit with that he did with the mic blew my mind. And Phantom def blew the crowd away.
