Noticing at least a couple of threads with a good core of people posting. Is this back? Fbook and Twitter just don't allow me to expand on my stupid thoughts enough for my liking.

I dunno if its back. But ill tell ya. I am 27 and I guess i was 20 when i first signed up to come on this board. Its been years since i was on here...Is there a rave scene anymore?

I would question whether they are 'raves'

raves parties....same difference...I miss plaza..that was a fun place! i also miss the underground parties!

No, not really the same thing. Most parties around Van now close up from 4-6 and aren't generally exclusive to electronic music. The actual "raves" that happen are few and far between.

Clubs and afterhours are pretty lively in the city though.

Also this past summer was insane for festivals.

Can't believe they let people party in there. I guess money talked, and at the time there was a hell of a lot of money to be made in the "scene".
