NYE and the ridiculous prices for tickets and cover....

IMO I think its a little bit much how the clubs and bars you go to can get away with charging everyone such ridiculous prices for tickets and cover, I can see if they bring in a big name or something, but its not like we didn't spend enough on Christmas that we should have to pay 50+ to get into a night club on NYE.


I dont want to spam you guys, but I wanted to let you know you have options, Im doing another sick warehouse party in a LEGAL studio space right off commercial, Im only charging 25$ for a ticket and I plan to go till 6 am or later. I put together some of Vancouver top dj's and we will be playing anything tech house - techno, with the all night bar, huge sound system, and sick visuals on every wall I think that's a great price. thats why Im doing these partys, not in it for money at all, I want to keep whats left of good underground house/techno alive in this city for another generation. as long as I cover my costs doing it I can keep them going.
