The trip went quite well... so since you asked here is a super summerized trip report.

First day in Amsterdam went exactly on schedule as my friend David and I expected. We found some space cake and Philosopher Stones and launched into a whole new form of reality. Then we drank about 250 Euro worth of Jaegermeister (costs 2-3 Euro per shot) at multiple bars as we partied it up all night long with the Dutch and British.

I hate Jaegermeister now. :gross:

Day 2 started off slow due to the previous nights festivities and I am glad I survived. We decided to go souvenier shopping and partied it up some more then I found out I got my money belt jacked off my person and I ended up losing 600 Euro and my passport. Festivities pretty much ended right there. I am very lucky I had all my credit cards in my pocket at that point in time or I would have been quite screwed.

Day 3: We were scheduled to go to Lyon, France and I couldn't go due to lack of official paperwork. So Dave continues on while I run around trying to figure out how to get paperwork to let me continue on with my trip.

I call my sister and got her to help me co-ordinate with the tour company and get info for me due to the 9 hour time difference and I scamble to see what can be done. Turns out that the Canadian Embassy is not open on the weekend and I have to wait for Monday to get in touch with them and I might get a new passport by Tuesday which would really fuck things up since it takes a day to get to the mountains and that would leave me with 2 days of snowboarding.

Day 4: I go to the police to submit my police report and I am lucky to have made a couple of photocopies of my passport so they can do something for me. They then proceed to notify me that someone found my original passport and turned it into one of the precincts and I go pick it up. I guess having gotten 600 Euro made the guy happy and he felt sad for me or something. In any case, I run to the airport to reschedule my flight and transportation and off I go to the slopes.

Day 5: Fly to Lyon and take a cab to La Tania. The French countryside is very pretty. The other 12 members of the Eurovasion were very happy to see me make it to the hotel.

Day 6 - 9: Ski the 3 Valleys which are fucking enourmous! Easily 10 to 15 times the size of Whistler/Blackcomb. Put it this way... to go from our resort to Orelle which is the farthest peak took TWO HOURS of riding the slopes, chairlifts, gondolas and trams non stop.

I rode like a madman, show the Europeans what boarding is all about and am lucky I didn't get hit by an avalanche. Seriously... I did a chairlift run and 30 minutes later the entire side of the slope 30 feet from where my snowboard lines were gave way.

I had 4 days of blue, sunny skies to tan under. Courcheval, Meribel and Val Thorens are very pretty. I'll go back there again one day. Already planning to hit up Zermatt in Switzerland in 350 days and counting.

In Val Thorens during lunch, this one group of people there kept smiling and pointing at my blue hair. This one especially good looking asian girl kept asking me questions in French and I tried my best to respond. I had to leave with my group so I ended up giving her one of my extra passport photos I took that day for my skipass as a souvenier. Then she asks in broken english for my number and I beat my head against a rock since I didn't have a pen handy.

Day 10: Wake up and go take a bus back to Lyon. Since I have a 6am flight the next day I sleep all afternoon and party it up all night,

I go to the club district and couldn't figure out how to get into the discoteques and clubs so we follow these two girls into one place. It was pretty small... maybe 250sq ft. per floor and they had 3 levels. I was about to leave and see the most amazing French girl come down the stairs. I couldn't believe my eyes! Put it this way... I left to go back to the hotel and come back to the club so I could take pictures of her. She was SOOOOOO HOT!

I know of very few females that can wear body hugging pants and tops and look the way she did. Where the clothing stopped the skin began... no visible imperfections, bumps, lines, body fat in the visual lines whatsoever, I'll post pics of her once I get them scanned. I swear that if I could have somehow hooked up with that girl I would have stayed in Lyon and not bothered to come back home.

Anyway... I party it up with her and two other girlfriends until 3:30am and head back to the hotel to sleep for 15 mintues until our taxis arrive.

I go to the airport for the 6am flight and it took about 30 hours of flights, transfers and layovers in airports before I got back into Canada so I am now dealing with jetlag at work.

But I did have a great time and I can't wait to visit Lyon again :c-tard:
