If you want an update ...
hi, im still alive ... this is an email i send out to some people i know .. just thought id put it up if anyone wanted to know what was going on ... so yea, here we go ...
Hi, I'm just going to tell you guys all the major treatmenty stuff ... Well my first treatment was raidiation, which was 5 days long. Each day I spent about 3 minutes under the beams, not much. First day kind of sucked cuz they had to draw all over my tummy with markers so they would know where to aim the beams, which is good, but the table was hard to get on to. So then later that day (thursday) I went back for some actual treatment. Same on friday, had saturday and sunday off, but then again on monday and tuesday and wedensday was the last day. (last wenesday that is) Also last tuesday I had another test call MIBG, which on the tuesday I am given a dye which then attratcs all the Neuroblastoma cells. The Neuroblastoma cells really like the dye, so the next day I go for a scan which all the cells then show up in, and you can see where all the cells are. Bad news, the scan pretty much showed a full skeleton, so its all throughout my bones, BUT there are no big tumors which is good. On friday I ended up having a Hickman Line (like a VAD) put in. This is because my veins are so small and weak they can't hold in an IV for very long. So friday was a pretty crappy day once I had finally totally woken up from all the drugs. But the cool thing is the surgon when we were talking before - we decided to put it in the SAME place as my first one was so I wont end up with anymore scars. Which I like. The weekend was a lot of pain, just dealing with the first few days of recovery from the surgery - yea pretty blah. On saturday I had a blood transfusion because my hemoglobin is getting low. Sunday and monday were 'resting' days. Tuesday I had a bone-marrow aspiration which wasn't too bad either. Then at night I had albumim transfusion, which is a part of the blood that I need to get rid of my edema (fat legs full of water). Today, I had another albumim transfusion, and because it was the 2nd one of the pack, (like a 2 pack) I then had this stuff put in that makes you go P a lot to get rid of the 'water' that is stuck in my legs. It's kind of hard to explain. Well this is as updated as I can make you. I start my Chemo today, probablly around 4 I think. As I have to come all the way down to the library to write to you I won't be doing it much. I'd call, but often I'm too tired and end up falling asleep. allie, i called you today!!! i wanted to know what was going on with you.
wow thats a lot of stuff hun. grrr hurry up and get better k!? as soon as i get my wisdom tooth out and i get off the t3's so i can drive im coming out to see you again k?!?!? i'll give you a call before i come of course...if u need anything at all lemme know. i hope everything goes ok. call me when yer up to it. love you!

its because i went away isnt it? your sick cause im not there anymore...im coming to save you babe! ill be home by june 3rd....im going to come and put pretty pics and balloons all over your room and sing to you....i miss you LOTS AND LOTS! take good care of yourself and dont forget im thinking of you!

Good luck, I think you should get the book "It's not about the bike" it's about Lance armstong and his battle with cancer and such, well written. I enjoyed it. =)

allie get better! you dont deserve to be suffering so stop lol! i know its not that easy but hold in there kid your going to make it through this and then you are going to look back and feel amazing cuz you know you can do anything!!!

it is called cafe ami we have good food sometimes and are open later then the cafe so if you every wake up and are hungry just call and if i am there will be able to bring you whatever you want. i make a mean fruit smoothie he he he

you all make it seem so much more then it is ... i guess it's just because well i've done it before ... and well i just keep on smiling and thinking of good things.
:moon: ps. can someone kill the people that are starting them damm "{you}" threads, they are reallllly pissing me off. but today i just finished my 2nd of 5 doses of my chemo - feeling pretty good. bit hot, but thats cuz i have a million-trillion blankets on i swear. time to go watch days ... bye pps. NO wheelchair racese = me PUKE

Anyways.. I'm glad to hear from you hun and i WILL be there visiting you one day if Krista ever wants to give me another chance :P You're a trooper hun, I know you've been through it all before so it may not seem as big of a deal for you as it is to us. But you deserve everything they are saying. You are very strong babe, keep it up!
