My love for graffiti is solely based on my love for art, I got into it from an artistic perspective and I intend on staying in it for the same reason. Dave I totally know what you mean though, I see a lot of people paint with the intentions of just getting up, personally I wouldn't be satisfied with my work if it was just about getting up. I won't go to the extent of painting trains just because I'm the biggest critic of my work, and until it's at a level where I think it's good enough to be displayed on a train I'll just keep practicing on walls. Oh and if i'm painting at a free wall (Leeside, the Edmonds tunnel) and I don't like what i've painted, i'll go back within the next couple of days and go over myself, just because I believe in practicing and developing my can control, style, etc. and if it doesn't look good, I don't want it to be there for other people to see.... that's my whole outlook on graffiti, it's different for everyone though. ~ShaDe

I need to practice painting more, I have a bunch of characters I'd be real down with putting up.. =/ But I suck ass right now..

oh and if you're wondering, yes i do write. i write "CAE" and i also have an alter ego tag that i dont really talk about it as openly as my primary tag. i live right near metro and royal oak so i have a bit of stuff up in that area. me and ash use to go out writing like at least 3 days a week but we rarely go out and write anymore... :( hey ash im giving out an open invitation to you to go hit up just like the old days... so how about it?

Zarlon you should totally start getting up your characters in paint.. thats another thing I love about graffiti, using paint as a medium :) it's wonderful and so much more challenging.
I've been sketching for about two years, and I have a years experience with paint... but not even on a regular basis. If I improve as much as I hope to this summer, then I can see myself hitting up trains by December... but then again that's IF and seeing as how i'm so harsh when it comes to judging my own work, I doubt it :soak: Thanks "CAE" I sincerely appreciate the props seeing as how so many people tend to hate on female writers. They just assume we get into painting for all the wrong reasons, which may be valid for some, but definetly not for me. I'll keep an eye out for your work. Where's Ashley? She hasen't even replied to this yet....

Yo it's not a big layup you gotta know the scheduleing to be able to paint it usually. Usually there's a hopper with a couple boxcars and a wheatie it's differant sometimes thougH.
Ya and i'm not dumb i know how to not heat out a spot i've bin told about shit like that and know what not 2 do. To many good spots are beingheated out by ignorant toys.

i am so sad i haven't heard from her in weeks... i'm starting to worry
she's at her dad's house right now (i think) but he doens't have a phone which makes it difficult for ashlee to return pages cause she doesn't actually have her pager.. she just calls in to check to see if she has any voice msg everyonce in a while... if anyone has heard from her in the past little while tell me please...last time i talked to her she was kinda sad :014:

Don't think she's in Surrey^^^hasn't seen her or any fresh tags.
Yo benyamean, most of the time it's CN cars but i've seen some BC rail cars a few times, never anything rare. Sometimes there's just a hopper. Once there was a line of boxcars parked there for like 2 weeks which is really wierd but keen said it was under investigation or something, that didn't stop anyone from painting it though.
