i think she was referring to the fact that if you're young, and drugs fuck up your life, nothing really happens. you have few responsibilities, and starting over again is easy. however, if you're older, with a larger amount of responsibilities, when you fuck up, you really fuck up.

while there are exceptions to this, i'm inclined to agree with it. it's better to fuck around when you have nothing to lose than when you have lots.

I’m just glad that I was more of a fuck up when i was younger as there were no real consequences for any of my actions. also when you are young you have more of a support system whether it be parents(not in my case really) or teachers or y0 p.o....when you get older the things that you do are 100% your fault for the most part. If you fuck up, you're not going to find much compassion or guidance, because the assumption is that you can take care of yourself. People see minors using drugs and it’s “so sad”, they see someone goats age and they see a loser. It’s unfair but its true.
