moxie's/shine crew last night

hey, where did you guys end up going? i was expecting to see you inside after a while, but i'm assuming that you decided not to wait and went somewhere else? ended up paying to get in cause my bf was already inside. had a great night but i missed you guys. i remember seeing dave, joelboy, and miska really briefly. ahhh, i still <3 curtis santiago. one of my favourite reasons for going to shine. anyways, was drunk out of my tree, which was good while i was at the club, but once i got back to my apartment, i realised that the keys had dropped out of my pocket somewhere during the course of the night. :( got a copy from the landlady this morning but it turned out to be a huge frustrating challenge seeing i could only stumble around.

thanks for coming out to dinner everyone! was super nice to see you...huge table so i didn't get much time to chat with aki, caitlin, erica, rhianna and JIB MONKEY (until later :P), but my asian girlfriend, rawb and cleve (yes, i did just call you cleve) kept me fully entertained!

SAVAGE HIGH FIVES. :P

I ended up going back to N Van because I like sleeping in my bed. I'm sad I missed Shine. But I'm sure there will be a next time. It was good seeing you kids.

Where was everyone else? I was expecting a whole crap load of people. Oh well.
Me, Jay, Mark and Heather got there at 11:15, met up with Lauren and her friend, and then stood in line until 1am. With daylight savings killing an hour, that left only 2 hours in the club. Kind of a bunk night. Would have been better if everyone was there!

hey erica! i'm so sorry, i didn't see you go in the club at all! i wanted to go into shine, but no one wanted to wait in the line up so we went to the cambie for a bit and then head home pretty early. i hope you had fun, and hopefully next time i can be ON TIME for dinner and follow through with plans for the night...geez i was so wasted!

no worries babe. it was nice enough to see you at dinner, and we'll make the party happen next time for sure. :) we'll go out for dinner/drinks/coffee sometime this week.

I agree that it was a bunk night! The bouncers were careepy. It was rad to see some people there & to hang out with the people I went with though.

well it depends on your taste in music I guess , I mean I would have loved to see 5 MC's doing freestyle, but some people don't like hiphop. So to each their own...

The night being bunk had nothing to do with the music! Shine rocks. I love that club. But waiting in line for longer than your time in the club just doesn't make for a good night.

i had a great time, but then again, you could stick me anywhere and i would have a great time as long as the music was good and i had steady flow of liquor. :P but i agree about the bouncers at shine. thumbs down from meeee.
