set your goals higher. make them almost unreachable so it would take you a long time to achieve. then when you make it, you'll feel the greatest sense of accomplishment ever.

im one of those girls who MUST achieve every single goal.. even the long term ones. ive been one hell of a lucky girl and no matter what i somehow pull through in the end. i guess the goals i can't achieve i just ignore.. but its just better that way.

i need goals and ambition. i seem to be lacking in both... :/

everything i do right now revolves in getting a successful and happy career, settling down independently, and keeping myself happy. whenever i think of all that at once it motivates me to strive to reach a goal, because everything i do right now somewhat affects it. there are lots of unexpected things that happen.. but just always remind ureself that there are always other routes to reach your goal. there is never just one way to reach it... there are always more chances and other oppurtunities. and when things don't look up, just believe that things happen for a reason and reflect back.. always learn from failure. there are TONS of ppl who inspire me to give that extra "umph" in life.. you just have to find the right ppl. i think im just a lucky girl who have close family and friends who push me to be my very best.

i dont live at home anymore, but im still learning the independence thing. i have my goals but i find they are always short term. i remember when i had a plan and a good set of goals, and ambition to achieve them. but drugs fucked that up and i had to start from square one again. but im pretty sure i've mastered the looking up when things are looking down bit, because things have looked down a lot but i still keep striving for something better. i envy you because it seems as though you've been able to keep focus very well, and you're succeeding in what you want to do, always moving forward to what you want. i susually take 2 steps forward and one step back. but as of late its been all forward steps. i overcame a potential major setback by realizing that it would be the wrong road to go down, which was hard because a lot of the people around me have no ambition. ramble ramble ramble :P always learn from failure? i must be a genius :D dont worry about the karma, the chat is more important anyways.
