hey! did you ever end up going to the taste of health festival? I was there on saturday around 2-4:30. it was fun. some pretty good (although very expensive!) food. I really liked the hemp seed butter. I didn't buy it though because it was a tiny jar for $8. NOT worth it!

PPS have yout tried "earth balance" yet??? its a vegan butter...its better then ANY butter ever made...

ok, there were tons of butters.. hemp butter, pumpkin seed butter, coconut butter! I don't recall an earth balance one though.

OMG, they had the BEST soy cream cheese EVER! had em in garlic, herbs and chives and original. it was fucking amazing! real creamy and smooth like real cream cheese. my bf didn't like it though. he said it didn't have the aftertaste that real cream cheese has.

there were other vegan foods, but the hemp butter and the soy cream cheese were my favorites!

but it's too bad you couldn't come make it! :( maybe next year!

I had some excellent deep fried pork today (in a white flour batter of course) along with my chow mein... aside from the vegetables which it seems they insist on throwing in, it was a pretty good lunch.

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure it was all deep fried in hemp seed oil! :)

OOH, I almost forgot. they also sold special maxi-pads which were completely organic and reusable and came in all sorts of prints (including camo).

what a fucking concept!

Reusable?? I'm assuming this also means washable... and I just couldn't imagine Kev getting uncomfortable about anything (jk of course).

I Actually changed to organic bio degratable :naturalways: pads.. but i dont like the brand... i was looking for new ones.. DAMN i wish i went
