I know that FnK will be doing something for SoB by raising money. I would like to suggest donating a few of the thigns that ive gotten signed over the years as an auction type thing for $$ for the event?

Would you guys be interested in this or should i drop it?

The party Save our Breasts is going to be raising money for caner. I would like to donate a few items so that they can be auctioned off so people can get money for research

Just exactly how would we do this auction?

That is the question I am having a problem figuring out.

I was thinking a few days before the event and hand the items out at the party or evne at the party. Takes about 5 min per item and say 3-4 good items wouldnt take more then 15 min

Have a pre-meet somewhere where this goes on Eg. The Art Gallery Steps if its a nice day and have people just call out im will to pay $$... Start at say a 1$ and then go up by 1$ per person

Myles, if it's not too much trouble, you could create a new temporary forum and there could be a new thread for each item. Give the people a certain number of days to bid, and then have a big meet and trade goods for money there!

Oh, PS, I don't have much stuff that would fetch a lot of dough, but I have a few pieces of practically MINT clothing that I wouldn't mind donating =)

im sure we could figure out some sort of plan of action. i really like the idea of a silent auction, or put natalies idea of a new forum and Nathans idea of silent auction together.
