trance haters.
where would our scene be without trance. would any company be able to sell 1000+ tickets for a party without a trance mainstage? we understand you dont like trance, BUT WE DONT CARE. trance does NOT suck, you just dont like it. so fuckin give it up.

The fact it can sell tickets does not make trance good. Heck that's like saying top40 is good because it sells tons of CD's. But on the other hand each to their own. There's tons of trance that's just good, no reason needed behind that fact other then that's what some people feel.
Personally I love DnB/Jungle but it seams like the production value of most of the crap kids play just don't cut it. Can any one in this city play Dark-Step, or just any thing with a little balls to it? The floaty crap, and the formulaic jump-up just don't cut it after 5-6years I've been hearing it at Clubs and Parties. Then like any stile of music, what gets played gets played too much. And often it's the worse example of the style out there in the first place.

i'm not assuming trance is good because it sells tickets, im just saying its an integral part of the scene. if no trance, no scene. what i'm saying is we dont care if you dont like trance, we dont need to see 'fuck trance' and 'trance sucks' in every thread about a trance party or trance night.

It's funny how it is mostly the kids that have only been about a year or two are the mouthy ones about gener's. It's kinda like them saying they don't listen to trance so must be in with the scene.
Once again don't get me wrong I'm not deffending most of the so called trance that gets played. Over played crap is just that. But most people bashing music don't have clue what they are bushing.

only anthems are really over played at raves listen to di or m1 and you'll get the hotest tracks and who says you have to party for 3 years to like music

Ok ok ok, my two bits. First and foremost, anyone who HATES a particular genre of music, should be slapped in the face with a mourning star and beaten and stoned with the shun shun stick. Has it dawned on any of you "haters" that the particular artist who has sold X amount of records for a reason? They have mastered their craft and it rocks. Simple enough. I like all forms of music, from the 1940's, to yes, present day metal. Its all good, and it should not be hated on. PS: trance rules. Probably the most dynamic and melodic genres out right now. But thats my opinion, music is subjective, and it always will be. Therefore keep the hate to yourself or learn to appriciate different kinds of music. That is all.
