was wondering whoz Italian up in these forums? n where in italy you from or would you happen to be CBI?

as for myself, i wuz born in rome, but my dad is from abruzzo, n my mom from the marche

I'm half french, half italian (Genoa I think, but I do know it's in the northern region)..
I also use my hands alot when I talk, and can make a mean pasta. :118: Oh, and I make some pretty kick ass nicotolis too! (damn it's been forever since I made any though)

I work at an italian coffee shop (a real one) for a guy from Triggiano, italy (in Apulia in southern italy) - in fact his last name is even Triggiano and I often talk to him with a bad italian accent when I'm at work - does that count? Our menu is even in italian.. of course, i'm irish so i probably get minus a million points for that.. or is it just irish/italian americans that hate each other?

hate eachother? must be the soccer rivalry ... its odd how that seems more severe here in north america.. because ive met plenty of irishmen straight from ireland whom i get along with perfectly, even when talkin about soccer...

and wut coffee shop you work at? always lookin to add more places to get my espresso from.

Nicotolis are these yummy italian donuts that me and my grandma used to make, but she doesn't make em anymore. I have the recipe around here somwehere...
I don't watch soccer so I'll just opt for the hug. lol

you ever been to a pasticeria? although im not sure they exist here... but maybe.. best shizzle ever... every morning in italy i go out and stuff my face w/ those for breakfast...

Pasticeria? Nope, never been. But there's a place called Il Collina here and they've got THE yummiest italian bakery goods- they make real yummy pizza (and it's the authentic kind too).

Nothing to do with soccer, mainly stems from irish and italian imigrants in NYC in the late 1800's and early 1900's... they were two of the larger ethnic groups in the area that didn't get along too well. I'm really not sure that people who actually live in Ireland/Italy have anything against each other.

it's called Triggiano's (see above), corner of Davie and Homer, good espresso, not great, but good - but I personally make the best cappucino's in the city, of course I'm only there on saturdays.
