does anyone want to go see one of the Bard on the Beach plays with me?

the choices:

As You Like It
Love's Labour Lost
Hamlet

i don't want to see Hamlet, but one of the other two would be good i think. i'm leaning toward Love's Labour Lost.

aw, the only one i don't really want to go see.

it's not a bad play, but i've read the play so many times and seen so many versions of it already that i wanted to see something else is all.

the tough part is both of those aren't really among my favorite shakespeare comedies..I wish macbeth was playing, I'd love to see the performance of the crazy broad playing lady macb :/

rosencrants and guildenstern are dead is also playing. that might be interesting.

i don't know anything about those two comedies, which is why they were on my 'possible watch' list.

i went to bard on the beach a few years ago, i'm watching them set up on the beach during my bus ride home from work everyday, they make sloooowww progress.

Hamlet is overratted, and I wanna read the little pamphet before deciding which one I'd like to see.

I just finished hamlet in school... i actually understood it and liked it better than macbeth...shakespeare had sum cracked out shit!

I'm going to see _As You Like It_ with my mom.. it was her birthday present... the only other play I want to see (like, REALLY want to see) is _Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead_ .. studied it in high school and fucking loved it. Tom Stoppard is a genius.

Naw it's not over-rated.. it's great. If you read Hamlet for the first time ever, you'd be like "whoah! This play is awesome!"

But everyone's studied it 3 or 4 times (more for us english majors) so the effect is a bit less..

i've actually never studied Hamlet. my teachers/profs tried to be all innovative, so gave us other ones.

tho i have studied:
a midsummer's night's dream
as you like it
king henry iv part ii
macbeth
titus andronicus
richard iii
antony and cleopatra
king lear

and i acted in the tempest.

never got to study hamlet or romeo & juliet. tear. :(
