Aaron and Mike: I miss you guys. We are gonna get so nuts at shambles it's not even funny.
I went fishing with my Dad when you called, mike. Your message was hilarious to listen to coming back into chilliwack. Drunk seems to be the name of the game huh? |

Ok, so, new update. Sarah's here (yay!) and I wish Amy were too....but it's better that she isn't. We planted for 2 days with sarah (she's kickin some ass.....700+ on her first day, and is planting at the same rate as me, with only a couple days experience). Problem is, we were still camped with an all silvarado camp, where we're the bitch crew. No one really seems to like us in camp....really weird. We planted 2 days, had to have a day off, where we thought we'd go back, and plant some more. After the wednsday night off (got hammered in PG again...and there was another showcase revue with joyce...thank god not involving me), we drove all the back to camp, and unloaded a reefer and half (a reefer is a 53 foot refrigeration truck that they cool the trees in for transport), which was a job that's supposed to be taken care of by other crews, but hey, we thought, why not, it'll look good on us to bust our humps, let them know we wanna work. Well, we wake up the next morning, expecting to be split up for planting, only to find out there's no room on any crews for us. The other kick in the ass was that our foreman chris was aking off to do layout, and took our new good buddy Taylor with him. We are now without a foreman, without work, and filled with questions. Basically, the silvarado camp supervisors aren't willing to give us any trees to plant. So now, here we sit, in PG, waiting to take our herbicide tests for the spray season, with no forseeable work till august. we might even go to alberta. Me n mike are rather cheesed, and tony's gonna head home.
PLUS, and here's the rub, i talked to my mom recently, and she said that three days after we left, that mining job ($26/hour, 72 hours weekly) called, and really wanted me to work for them. she called back to express my interest, and now I'm trying to get ahold of the company. If I get that job, I come home. But it's all fucked up now. We're drifting, like dust in the wind, and now we're spending money we don't have.....living in a backyard again, eating food we jacked from the camp when we left. We were toldthis was going to be very different that it's turned out to be. Mike feels bad that he talked me into coming, but let's face it, It was my choice, and I was given the same info as he was. I don't know if he feels like this, but I kinda feel we've been duped. :( On the bright side, if we get our herbicide certifications, there' mad money to be made, and that's from a reliable source (spectrum's boss Bill). Here's to hoping, eh? We'll be around PG till Tuesday, at a minimum, so we're not signing off yet. Goat: We're planting for Spectrum, which is the amalgamated company of silvarado and bugbusters. We were actually lodged at the murray ridge ski lodge, so that was probably a different silvarado camp.....interesting thaqt you were around. And an indian got knifed? Not suprised.....all zoo'd up, and nowhere to go. we definately stayed outta there. Everytime we went to get booze at the beer and wine store, we got mobbed by natives trying to sell us pot. Sean: Joyce loves you too. |

I had been planting good so I made enough money to hold me over and keep in budget for Septembers school.. plus coem Spray season we will be making like 200-400 a day the Zoo is a fucked place...I tried to stay away.. I am having fun though I sleep in my Hammock |

Absolutely! and here's to hoping everything starts to look up. as to us coming home, Tony's the only one for sure. He's just tired of trying, I guess. For now, it's all up in the air, and we'll know more during the week. I hate being stuck in Limbo.....maybe I need to go do some backflips, and chop down some trees............ |

I wish we were planting still because i woulda kicked some ass and made some good money... i planted 900+ on my third day..beating both tony and jarman.I Liked the camp we were at even though we are the only bugs crew..there were some very chill peeps. but whatever.... At least i got a bit of experience for next season...and hopefully we'll have work this week..and Hopefully everything will be a bit clearer in the next few days .. other wise i gotsta head home....
I'm glad to be away though..... I was bored back home.... its fun being a dirty hippy up here..haha.... fortunatly I can handle this kinda lifestyle as well as a city one.... I got raped by horse flies and mosquitos.. i was lookin like an acne infested freak...i took some drugs and there staring to fade.. But ya everthing here is a bit wacked and you gota stay calm or shit can get pretty stressed..... were goin down town to drink tonight... IT's fuckin hilarious goin out with jill and joyce... last night they had a competition to see how many guys they could make out with.. there slutyness is pure entertainment.and they basically get our whole crew drunk from getting guys to buy drinks... so i cant complain.... i like it here and i miss amy... and every body else if shits gay I'll be home in a week or something if its good I'll see u bitches at shambala.... |

Update!!!!
Hey hey all....still stuck in PG......Today, we wrote our herbicide exam, and I'm the only one who feels good about it. Pumped now! Mike and sarah are heading to vernon to meet bobby-t at his cabin, then go cherry picking for a week, after which mike'll head back here for spray, and sarah'll keep picking her cherries. As well today, there was alittle accident involving a pellet gun and my truck. Basically, mike saw us waiting in the suburban, and saw Jill in his shotgun spot. He walked back to the tent, grabbed the pellet gun, made sure it was loaded, came back around the front of the house, and fired off a shot. Unfortunately, instead of hitting anything metal, he hit my huge back side window, shattering it......but at least every shard of glass stayed where it was, and its now tuck-taped to shit, and held together......my truck jus jumped up a notch (or would that be down?) on the ghetto-meter. There's also an eight-ball glued to the roof.hopefully, the money and worjk situation will improve....and the lady situation, but we're working ion that. I'm sure I'm forgetting something interesting, but I got a blonde cowgirl on my mind.......:) till next time! Last edited by Jarman; Jul 21, 05 at 08:05 PM. |

Well Sarah and i picked Cherries for a week...i hated it i spent a lot of time throwing them at french people...The best part about the farm we were at is that it was on Bobby_t Cabin...so of course he came up and met us for the weekend for some wake boarding and nutzness. Soem how Jarmon was in Kamploops and gotr a hold of bobby_t and met us on sunday. Sarah headed home with Bobby T and amy on Sunday night Jarmon and I stayed and partied with Mr and Mrs Bobby_t. The drop of us in Vernon Monday morning and when we were walking down the street met ranomly an old wrestling friend of ours..Harold. ..he openned up his house to us and we had soem "wierd times" people sure change over the years... now me and Jarmon are "going go" on a bus to PG fix his truck and head to Chetwynd for a day then to fort Nelson into a spray camp.... see you at the frestiville |
