I thought my shame was redundant in these heady times of motorized cars and mega-shopping malls. I traded my shame for microwave ready pop-corn a long time ago. As did i my soul for a beta-max video recorder (mistake in hindsight, should have gone vhs, but who knew)
My shame is a thing of memory now, misty water colored memories, in the corners of my mind. But today it dances around me in an ever gusting breeze. Gently whispering my name as it passes’s my ear with fleeting inevitability. "John", its says..... "John", and when i try to grab its willowing form, it mealy slips out from my grasp, and mocks my vain attempts at a reconciliation. The tracks of my tears bear witness to my lack of shame. Like a performing clown, with dusted face i carry on the shared in life’s big top. But under the thick layer of grease pain known as experience, you will find frown lines so deep they gouge down to my heart. So i tell you this friends, do not make the same mistake i did. Keep your shame; do not loose it in a misplaced hand of cards. Place your bets ladies and gentlemen, but don’t be to hasty to gamble your shame. As one day it will be your best and only partner in this roller coaster ride. But the one thing i do ask in exchange for these words of warning, please do not mock me as i ride alone. John Perry

Yes yes, its all true
Shameless people at time commit heinous deeds, as they have no shame to restrain them from committing such foul acts. For example…a man without shame may find some sort of twisted sense of satisfaction in seeing how far he can push upon another until under the pressure they sway and bend before finally shattering and are defeated…finding some kind of sick glory. in watching their pride dissipate until there is no pride left to be found... The shameless, find sport in dancing upon the edge of the precipes of uncertainty teasing the wind in to sharing in their game, unheeding of gentle warnings, encouraging the wild frenzy until, at last … a game it becomes no longer.. and the shameless are knocked from their perilous perch and fall to their end.. dashed upon the jagged rocks of failure! Ive seen this before, many times, (with my own eyes) quite sad really. The shameless are the kind of people who will read your diary without your consent and then be arrogant enough to question you about it, so as in shocked disbelief you realize that they have read it! The shameless have no shame to keep them from setting the stage, and guiding those who have fallen victim to them, in merry circles, as if they are master puppeteers deftly directing the show, with nimble fingers, guiding and directing , invisible silken strings, and unknowingly those under their influence, play out the scenes, just as shameless would want them to. However … their biggest mistake is that they tend to underestimate their adversaries….which eventually leads to their untimely downfall and complete destruction and ruin.
