When I was in Boston I bought a black dress from Saks. The tags are on it and the receipt is still in the bag. I went to try it on today to match shoes, purse, have it altered, etc. And I discovered that there is a sensor tag on the lining. It is not visible from the outside but I really don't want this thing on there! ya ya ya...I DID NOT STEAL THIS DRESS!

What I need to know if the cream colored, typical rectangle sensor tag is a dye tag. If not..i'll just plier it off. But I do not want dye on my pretty peach lining. I know the sensor tags at my old store could be taken off with pliers. But i'm not so sure with this one.

please help. i need to wear this dress on saturday. (p.s. its hot!)

look for someone with a reallyt strong magnet por someone who has a sub thats not in a box theyre. we take are sensor tags off with a really stron magnet

Ash, I would suggest that you take a pic and post it and I will tell you if it's dye or not. Usually if it's dye it will say so right on the tag, though.

can you call them and ask what type of tag they use? I;m sure it sucks to call long distance. And it may be hard not to sound scetchy asking them how to get their tags off. :p But maybe you can explain what happened, and get their advice on how to get it off.

i think the sensor tag will only have dye in it if it actually says so (ie. a warning label on it). otherwise, its just a rectangular sensor with a round pin
