Hello from Hiroshima

You know what the funniest thing about Japan is? It's the little differences. Wait, also it's the big differences.

This city rules. The Sports Bar I ate at rules.. outside the sign said "Isn't it a sports wonderful???" and "No sports! No life!" The food was better than any sports bar has a right to serve.. but what's really awesome is my hotel. $35 equivalent for a pristine room with tons of cool japanese touches (a little plugged in flashlight next to the bed?! Slippers in the closet??) and, AND

Vending machines on my floor featuring the following:

- Smokes
- Pop
- Ice cream
- BEER
- WHISKEY
- SAKE

Did I mention the beer is about $3 per big can?

God maybe I should just stay here. But no, tomorrow it's off to Ape Island aka Yagushima.

You know, a part of me wishes I was going to Candy Apple Island. I mean, they got apes, but they're not so big.

I love the vending machines wi th smokes and beer cans. I don't know if all of them shutdown at 12am but the ones by my grandparents side in Osaka shut down at 12am sharp like the batmobile gets covered up.

Slippers are definetly the comfy way to walk around.

Do they have air conditioners in every room

I had sausage and egg mcmuffins for breakfast my 2nd time in Hiroshima. They tasted just as good as back home!

oh man.. the signs sound hilarious. that was a great thing about china. they had no idea what the english translation of huge ass signs above stores said.. lol. sorry that you dont know me... but it sounds like your having a great time in japan! im jealous. i need to get away somewhere magical that has cheap ass beers and sells cigarette's and wiskey in vending machines:)

Beer Chang for 60 baht per 600 ml bottle did the trick for me. That's less than 2 bucks Candadian FYI. Plus higher alcohol content. Yowza.
