how's it goin? Calgary's been pretty dry rave wise this year... gonna be bad here too... no venues anywhere :-(

Haha, yeah that would be me!

Actually this year has been pretty good up until last month.

Raves are pretty much dead now.
Only club events, and the odd hippy style party, that's about it.

No massives, no mid or small parties.

Lack of venues, promoters quitting (not worth the hassle for the little to no money they make), stupid kids getting spoilded and bitching about every little thing...it all adds up.

Lets see how spoiled everyone is when there is no more raves, and one pops up here and there. Maybe then they will appreacite it more.

ya, I meant coming up calgary's gonna be pretty dry... now that the Maxbell is out of commission... The Space... that vemue just didn't do it for me, and why bother throwing a rave at the warehouse.

Actually, the warehouse doesn't allow raves there.
They only hold special events (warehouse sponsored club event kinda things).

No raves.

And Maxbell isn't out of commission, it's just not easily available, and when it is, you can't book more than 3 months in advance, which makes it almost impossible to book headliners, party, etc, in that short of time.

And the Space, well, no one wants to use it anymore.

Oh, and max bell is going through reno's soon, so it might be out of commission for a while.
