What do you play?

Any blackjack tips?

I've been told to stick to the slots...but i'm curious to know if people play other games, are good at them, and if there any tips to keep in mind while playing? I may be naive in thinking there is no strategy or intelligence in putting money on a table or into a machine but i keep hearing about all these "tips."

I thought fnk might be a good place to go?
Maybe it is all luck?

generally, I do have bad luck.....but i'm gonna turn it around in vegas...or at least try.

Any suggestions would be helpful...

if you wanna get the most bang for your buck, i say try poker. For one it's probably the only game in a casino that's not stacked in favour of the house.

I would try playing online first.

There are a lot of websites with fake money. They also offer tutorials on how to play....

double down is taking a hit but also doubling your bet.

Also, if you're facing an Ace take the insurance. It's like an extra bet that says if you're facing a blackjack you keep your money.

But thanks for the tips. I think i'm gonna listen to Avana and try some online games if i have time before i go. Clearly, i know nothing including the termonology, but i still secrelty want to big win. :p

Slots are silly....I mean hello, it's a computer! It's obviously programmed to pay you as little as possible!

I like roulette, cus it's pretty easy to understand, and it moves quickly.

RIVER ROCK! I don't know why, but I have a total soft spot for that place.

^ Roulette is fun and I've made some decent money at it before.

Read up on it and then go with a $20, get $0.50 Chips and work the inside for a bit to get the feel of the Game.

slots are retarded, the longer you play slot machines the more likely you are to lose money.

the only game that has good odds for the player is poker, miniback or roulette...everything else is a crapshoot.

Black Jack is awesome.
Make sure you're playing at a table full table and that everyone is working as a team to fistfuck the dealer.

junkies faces when you pass by. YIKES

Personally I hate Casinos. Everytime I'm in one I feel like I need to go home and shower to get the stench of desperation and failure off me.

The more people playing in a single game = more hands played. More hands played increases means more people the dealer has to beat, increasing the amount of times he'll probably have to hit and bust.

Doesn't work like that buddy.

Dealer hits on a soft 17 or lower, stands on a hard 17 up.

soft = one ace valued at 11 in the hand.

hard = all aces are valued at 1/no aces.

These rules are there because dealer always plays last. Kinda lame if the dealer is playing after seeing everybody's cards, no?
