I'm planning on possibly munching on a couple grams of mushrooms, playing some pool and maybe jamming or watching some movies. Music is also called for =)

I'm a bit of a punk elitist, to be honest. Almost every punk band I've seen in Van has been weak. Plus I get angry when I hear bubblegum punk. I just stay away from punk shows now. Also.. death to fashion punks.

i agree punks in a decline in van, metal is taking over which isn't bad
there are tons of good metal shows around

there was a few good punk shows at the korean and the astoria
bring back the colbalt!

I was under the impression the Cobalt reopened.. The Astoria had some great shows for sure. Life Against Death, Leper, and I think the other band I really enjoyed was Enchanted Faeries. Onslaught was insane too.. Soo many good shows. I caught the Dayglo's there too =)

I live nearby & an hour ago drove up the road to Summer Break. Nice big RCMP checkstop there lookin for whatnot.

Not much sound from the site itself until you get really close. Back in the 90s the raves here had much bigger sound, you could hear them 5 miles away easy, and big lasers lighting up the sky.
